The history of the brand
"Les Sens de Marrakech is the story of a new life and the discovery of a country: Morocco. After setting up a spa in 2000, Céline Seguin Musquar, the founder, decided to create the brand she had long dreamed of, one that combines Eastern traditions with European standards.
More than 50 Moroccan artisans have pooled their skills to collaborate with the brand in an ethical and sustainable initiative. The packaging, 90% of which is made of glass, is handcrafted to ensure these products are unique and authentic. Rare ingredients such as argan oil, prickly pear seed oil, dates and aloe vera form the basis of the brand’s various skincare products.
From face and body care products to bath accessories and home fragrances, Les Sens de Marrakech now offers around a hundred traditional and luxurious products." - Le journal des Femmes
"Made entirely in Marrakech, our products draw their richness from natural ingredients sourced from the East. Argan oil, prickly pear oil, date extracts and aloe vera are the main ingredients in our products. We have our own research and development laboratory; our formulas are exclusive to our brand and contain at least 90% natural ingredients. We are also very concerned about the safety and security of our products. All our products are tested by one of the best French testing laboratories.
We work with many artisans and have never sought to replace them with machines or Chinese manufacturing. Whether it’s coppersmiths or embroiderers, this manual work is central to our ethical charter. As a Frenchwoman based in Morocco, I also owe my success to the opportunities Morocco has given me. In return, I want to highlight this craftsmanship and stay true to the values I started out with."
